X-Stitch - PowerPuff Girls!

Description

My favourite was always Buttercup.

This was worked on plastic canvas over 29 days (whilst working on exams and the Boo bookmark). I messed up a little with the counting as I started working on it whilst waiting in a car for a few hours, but I think it looks pretty damn good even so.

The pattern is not mine, and I take no credit for it - it was made by the fabulous Anonymity Blaize! (link to her livejournal page with the pattern: [link]). Her patterns are absolutely amazing.

Oh, man, this was so satisfying to sew. I'm gonna turn this into a fridge magnet or something.

It's a really good piece. There are a few spots where you can tell the stitching tried to go wonky - particularly on Bubbles - but they don't interfere with the overall enjoyment of the picture.
Then again, I've always been a fan of the Powerpuff Girls. And having done some stitching in a moving vehicle myself, I am aware of how very much of a pain in the butt it can be.
Very cute, though, and very much something I would use as a decoration, be it as a magnet or perhaps with pins for holding papers in place on a corkboard.
